All futures green pre-market
Futures open little up but no go so pretty flat with afternoon fade to downside

No trades near open, just couldn't find stocks of interest and SMB not a great selection

Bad today
Trade in RESI was a bit hopeful as nothing to drive it

Good today
Waited and did not overtrade
Scaled out of stock and then got in again
Didnt get distracted near close and end up holding stocks overnight

DHR was stalling around VWAP 

I missed a good entry earlier in the session off a small upside move and waited till it looked weak at VWAP later in the day

In keeping with managing trades I took off half on a stall and then added when it started to move down again 

RESI

Looking to fade day high.
No real driver for this stock so not an A trade
Very small loss and kept a stop of 9 cents after entry

Futures opened low and climbed all day
Not much action in stocks so looking for a slow climber on the open


Bad today
Missed MSFT - had an upgrade and nice stable open washout. Hesitated and missed entry by a few cents and lost the trade. It continued up for a strong day

No impatient  trades
Looked at lots of stocks
Took a short with good price action and weaker that market after failing to make a new high
Exited after holding till near end of day

PL  Happy with any winning day that was due to following rules and processes

Rolled into and tested VWAP at 2

Some volume starting to come in with share size increasing on offers and this seems to be more honest for downside that to hold price so entered 1 cent below offers

Held and moved stops for half down to lock in profit

Market

Futures all opened down and traded flat today

Needed to find strong stocks with their own mind or short weakness

Day started terrible with a short from yesterday getting stopped out and an open drive that went the wrong way

Traded out of a hole and ended up with small upside. Pleased with this 

Mistakes

Missed entry in a very good short as I didn't think it had more downside and should have just traded the tape and chart

Traded 50 shares in a stock that could have easily taken 1000 shares

Done well

Left stops in place

Took part profits

Cut losers

Traded out of a hole in the morning

Got rid of P/L on trading screens so I don't stress over trades and can manage more easily

Held from yesterday because I was not paying attention to the time and did not close out

Started day down with stop out from this trade

This worked and could have easily been traded with size
Exited in two lots and took good profit as this made the day for P/L

DYAX
Up 40% on success for drug trials. These stocks have been busing lately after a good run up so shorted.
Held most of the day and did not move so exited trade

HPQ
Entered limit on open and got killed.
Went against me and had a second go at this one. Held most of the day and exit after no movement

LL
Good call by Willam and entered just under VWAP
Held for most of move and exit at first stall and then exit rest at second fail at this new level

RESI

Quiet stock but holding and getting tight on price
Missed first trade and had a go at the second test of morning level
Exit on failure to move
Will try short on close if it does not move up

X is a mad stock and does whatever it wants

Short and stopped out by 1 cent
It did not move much and would have only been a break even trade at best

Market down on open and stocks not holding levels. Utility sector up and this is where money flows when stocks are not providing good returns for big funds

SMB am meeting not much use, biotec making runs and takeovers but again scrappy trading
